Here is what Michelle had to say:
There were so many awesome entries this week and yet it was this one card that kept drawing my eye back again and again and again. Michele's card is a masterful fusion of sketch and inspiration photo, picking up the woodgrain, the hearts, the shelf, the colour scheme, right down to the tiny pop of pink. This card makes me feel all warm and cozy. I love it! Congratulations, Michele!

So many amazing entries it was quite the decision for the whole design team. Lynn will be choosing this week's winner.

Here is what Lynn had to say:
Lee Ann's card is absolutely stunning.  I absolutely love the touch of pearls and the stunning gold leaves.  What an amazing take on both the sketch and inspiration photo. I'm normally a CAS loving girl, but this card simply knocked it out of the park!

PROCEDURES:
1. Play with just the sketch challenge.
2. Play with just the inspiration photo challenge.
3. Or you can create FUSION by combining BOTH challenges into one card.
4. Use the challenge graphic and link back to Fusion in your post.

You could be inspired to create a card with:
Chalkboard Elements
Pink Colours
Frames
Birthday Theme
Celebrations
And SO on...

To celebrate, I asked each of our designers to invite one card maker to celebrate with us! I asked them to invite somebody who inspires them as a card maker! Welcome, ladies! Each of our designers made a card and so did their guest (based on the challenge).

I chose Sandie as my guest designer for her fabulous CAS designers. I love stopping by and being inspired by her choice of color and ability to use minimal elements to create a beautiful design.  Sandie is also a very regular player at Fusion!  Even better, Sandie and I are cousins and this fabulous hobby has brought us even closer as we live "across the pond" from one another.

I chose to invite Iwona (aka Chupa) as my guest because, not only is she my friend, but her cards are always drop dead gorgeous.  I admire her ability to create layers that work together seamlessly, and I love that her cards often seem to have a touch of old fashioned charm and nostalgia about them.

Jeanne Jachna

Cathy Weber (Jeanne's Guest Designer )
I chose Cathy Weber as my guest designer because I love her attention to detail. She always amazes me by coordinating all the elements of a design, so every detail is perfect. Her designs are usually layered, but always look so clean and coordinated.

I chose my friend Lauren as my guest designer because she has such an elegant and eclectic design style.  Lauren has an amazing touch for combining different paper designs ... she also incorporates fabulous texture & special finishing touches into her creations.

May Park (Amy's Guest Designer)
I chose May as my Guest Designer because I've always been such a fan of her clever and amazing designs.  She has a way with anything fromclean & simple to some serious *wow* factor.

Mona Pendleton (Julia's Guest Designer)
I chose Mona Pendleton to be my Guest Designer.  I have always admired Mona's work and was fortunate enough to work with her on a design team - where I got to know her on a more personal level.  She is a wonderfully talented artist, creating beautiful page layouts, incredible mixed media projects and lovely stamped cards.

Laura Bassen (Michelle's Guest Designer)
I chose Laura as my guest because I have long admired her awesome CAS style. Along with her fabulous artistic ability, Laura's sense of humour gets me giggling on a regular basis, she's lots of fun!

Donna Mikasa (Kimberly's Guest Designer)
I chose Donna as my inspiration designer because she has a magical
way with color and bright lively designs.
Her watercolor and inking is just divine. Her fresh and clean cards are awe inspiring!
You can see more of her lovely work on her blog: three umbrellas.

Wida Miller (Kelly's Guest Designer)
As soon as I saw the inspiration photo, Wida Miller popped into my head (you're nodding your head with me, right?!?) I chose Wida as my inspiration because of her fantastically whimsical and fun style. She rocks layers, pretty, and sassy so well. I always love her cards!

Ren-Yi (Betty's Guest Designer)
I chose Ren-Yi from Smallhanded Creations because I really like her many different styles, making each card unique and special. We also have had 2 opportunities to meet in Germany and she is really a down-to-earth and sweet person.

Deepti

Barb Ghig (Deepti's Guest Designer)
I chose Barb Ghig for the divine simplicity and calm that her card designs bring. She has a uniqueness to her style which always catches my attention. I have always admired her CAS style and I am sure you agree... how gem of a person she is!! So glad to have her here with another one of her awesome cards.

Anika Lerche (Anni) (Lyndal's Guest Designer)
I just LOVE Anni's CAS with a twist creations, her fabulous style and faultless execution gets me every time!

Joni Nina Andaya (Katie's Guest Designer)
I chose Joni because she is super sweet and she has the ability to turn any creation into an elegant masterpiece.  Once look at her blog,Papell with Love, and you will know her style is fresh and chic. Take a look at her amazing card below!
